Sinkhole which caused emergency road closure repaired

A SINKHOLE which forced the emergency closure of a Kenilworth road has been repaired.

Knowle Hill was closed on Monday (August 5) while the hole was filled in, with Kenilworth Town Council warning the 4ft hole could take up to three weeks to fix.

But the following day the road had reopened.

A council spokeswoman said: “The emergency closure was required to avoid the likelihood of danger to the public.”
