STAFF at South Warwickshire Foundation Trust have voted it among the top healthcare employers.
Staff at the trust – which runs Warwick, Leamington, Stratford and Shipston hospitals – were questioned anonymously about their employer and the service as a healthcare provider.
And it received top results nationally for overall health and wellbeing, morale and staff engagement.
A newly introduced question looked at staff looking for jobs outside of the trust.
Nearly ten per cent said they were pursuing other positions – lowered than the national average of around 15 per cent.
Chief executive Glen Burley said: “I always look forward to seeing the results of the staff survey as I believe they are a direct indicator of our performance. It is our teams which provide care to the local community so without their commitment and passion we would not be able to deliver first class services. The outcome of the survey is also an opportunity for us to reflect on where we need to make improvements.
“We want to attract and keep the best staff and to do so we intend to be one of the top places to work in the NHS, this means continually developing and enhancing what we offer.”
