A PUB in Stratford is in the running to become Britain’s best.
The Coach House on Rother Street is through to the final of national competition, The Great British Pub Awards, after beating hundreds of applicants to get down to the final three.
General manager Linzi Toon said, “We literally jumped up and down and hugged each other when we were told we were through to the final, it’s like winning in itself.
“This is such a prestigious award. We work so hard to ensure we deliver a great experience for every customer, on every visit, but ultimately, it’s the people either side of the bar that make a pub special, so our thanks go to our customers for adding their magic to The Coach House.”
As finalists, the pub must now host a judges visit followed by an interview, before finding out if they have won the overall title.
No stranger to awards, The Coach House picked up two Best Pub Awards in 2022.
