A SAMBA band from Leamington will be beating the drum for charity.
The Sambassadors of Groove are performing on the streets of Stratford on Saturday March 11 in aid of the Red Cross.
The band will be playing from 1pm on Waterside with all the cash raised going towards the Turkey/Syrian Earthquake crisis relief fund.
The Sambassadors of Groove was established 25 years ago and is currently made up of 30 members.
Their music is energetic, loud and lively, based on the rhythms of Brazil and Cuba.
The members come from Leamington, Stratford, Warwick and beyond and they play in festivals and events across the country including the Warwick Folk Festival, and with their ‘twinned’ band in Germany, Sambasurium.
