THE GROWING reputation of Southam Flower & Produce Show was evident for all to see at the weekend.

The event was successfully revived last year, and there were over 370 exhibits at this year’s show at the Graham Adams Centre on Saturday (August 22).

The show is supported by the town council, Southam Lions, and voluntary groups and businesses within the town, and the organisers thanked everyone for their backing.

The trophy winners included – John Brunt (Vegetable Shield), Pam McConnell (Best Vegetable Tray and Fruit Cup);




Lesley Smith (Flowers & Plants); Carole Gwillam (WI Baking); Carl Jackson (Oopsadaisy Retro Handicrafts); Jessica Jackson

(Under 5s); Daniel Johnson (Children aged 5 to 8); and Charlee Shepherd (Children aged 9 to 14).


Stoneythorpe Hall Best in Show went to Jean Smith for her handicrafts, while Charlee Shepherd collected

Children’s Best In Show for her ‘Room in a Shoebox’.

Organisers thanked all those who had helped make the show such a success.
