THE SUN was shining in Southam at the weekend as residents opened their garden gates to visitors.
The Open Gardens event featured everything from small cottage gardens, brimming with flowers, to a secret getaway on a garage roof-top.
Also on show was a once rubbish strewn wasteland now transformed by green-fingered residents into a horticultural haven.
In total 26 gardens were open, and plants and refreshments were on sale at the event which raised funds for Southam In Bloom.
