STAFF at Heathcote Hospital saddled up to ‘virtually cycle’ from Leamington to Paris in support of World Stroke Day.
The Feldon Stroke Unit organised the challenge to cycle the 322-mile journey in just five days in aid of the Stroke Association.
More than 120 people jumped in the saddle for charity – including a five- year old visitor and a 91 year-old patient.
And to contribute to the fund-raising, staff at Warwick Hospital fired up the ovens and held a cake sale.
Channeling their inner Mary Berry, staff managed to raise an impressive £400, which when combined with the amount raised at Heathcote meant the charity received a £1,000 donation.
