A ROBBERY at a store in Long Itchington left staff shaken.

The two robbers fled the Co-op shop on Church Road, with a large quantity of cigarettes and cash at around 6.30am on Sunday (November 19).

They were described as white, one stocky and around 6ft tall, and the other of larger build, around 5.5 ft with short, dark hair. One was holding a plastic, drawstring carrier bag, among other items.

Det con Richard Hobbs said: “I am particularly keen to hear from anyone who saw two men early this morning, in the area of Church Street or Short Lane, or near to Jubilee Way going towards nearby allotments. I am also keen to speak with the driver of a red Renault Clio seen in the area early this morning.”

Any witnesses or anyone with information should call police on 101.
