A TEAM member at Stoneleigh Deer Park Golf Club has received special recognition for her hard work in organising multiple summer golf camps.
Hosted at The Belfry, Jeanette Jackson received the Junior Organiser of the Year award at this year’s Warwickshire Golf Awards.
Jeanette has held the role of junior organiser at the club for two decades, during which she has dedicated her time to looking after as many as 50 children in any given golf season.
Her role includes helping youngsters develop into good young adult golfers – many of the youngsters she taught now play for the county.
She has also single-handedly organised the Warwickshire Young Masters golf competition, which attracted golfers from all over the county since its inception more than ten years ago.
Not only does she organise events and coaching sessions, she is also responsible for many of the club’s charity social events.
The club and its members congratulated Jeanette on a thoroughly deserved award.
