A 34-YEAR-old woman from Stratford has been charged with terrorism offences following alleged reports she was planning to join terrorist group ISIS.
The woman was charged with two counts of engaging in conduct in preparation for terrorism under section 5 of the Terrorism Act 2006.
She appeared at Westminster Magistrates Court on Tuesday (January 16) and was remanded in custody.
The charges relate to allegations she was planning to travel to join ISIS in Afghanistan as well as sharing extremist material between September 1 2022 and January 10 2024.
