STORM troopers, Judge Dredd and Thor were just some of the stars out in force at Leam Comic Con.
The event at All Saints Parish Church saw comic book fans from all walks of life turn out dressed as their favourite characters – also known as cosplay – at the town’s fourth convention.
The co-creator of Judge Dredd, John Wagner, and Marvel writer Al Ewing were among those to feature at the event.
Organiser Dan Mallier said: “Leam Comic Con was a total blur of comics, colour and laughter.
“It was great to see the church packed to the rafters with comic-book fans, cosplayers and families looking to celebrate the awesome medium of comic-books and enjoy a fun day out.
“We’d like to thank the town and those visiting for their continued support for our independent event.”
