WARWICKSHIRE’S rich past is in need of some future help.
Heritage and Culture Warwickshire (HCW) is seeking supporters to help preserve the array of treasures and artifacts it cares for.
The some 800,000-strong collection includes everything from Roman pottery to 17th century costumes, and more recent acquisitions such as the Healey Motor Company archive, which saw £93,000 raised to keep it in Warwick where the famous car company was based.
And HCW has now launched a supporter scheme offering people the chance to play their part in safeguarding the county’s history.
For an annual contribution starting from £23, supporters will get free entry to events, behind the scenes’ tours, discounts, private viewings of new artifacts and more. Family supporters will also receive free entry to various children and family events including Family Night at the Museum.
