TICKETS to a special charity music night at Warwick Castle are expected to sell fast.
Taking place on Friday January 27, the event will raise funds for the Warwickshire Tiffin Club for looked-after children.
Held in the Great Hall, it will feature a variety of music performed by young people from various ensembles around the county.
Performances will include appearances from County Girls’ Choir, an open access choir which meets weekly during term time with members travelling from across the county.
The choir have been highly praised both in the Choir of the Year competition and at the National Festival of Music for Youth.
Also performing will be Gutted and County Waits.
A raffle will offer prizes including vintage wine, a football signed by players from Birmingham City FC and an archaeology Warwickshire experience day up for grabs.
Coun Izzi Seccombe, leader of Warwickshire County Council, said: “This is set to be a fantastic evening of music in the atmospheric surroundings of Warwick Castle.
“We hope to see as many people as possible on the night enjoying a performance from such talented ensembles from around Warwickshire.”
