THE CRIMINAL underworld and corrupt dealers in the art market will be up for discussion in Leamington on Monday (April 3).
Malcolm Kenwood, policeman and art and antiques detective will be speaking on the subject to the Mid Warwickshire Association of the National Trust at Kingsley School, starting at 7.3opm.
Entry is free to members of the local association, and £3 for visitors.
And the slums of Leamington are the focus of a joint talk hosted by the Warwick and Leamington societies on April 11.
Barry Franklin, chair of the Leamington History Group, will tell us how concerned citizens acted to get decent homes for people living in the slums of Leamington, mainly behind Parade.
It takes place at the Lord Leycester Hospital, starting at 7.30pm. Visitors welcome.
