Tea time music from Beauchamp Sinfonietta

BEAUCHAMP Sinfonietta perform Afternoon Tea Concerts in Leamington and Southam later this month.

They will perform at Southam’s Grange Hall on Saturday January 27 at 3pm, and the following day, also at 3pm, at Leamington’s Holy Trinity Church in Beauchamp Avenue.

The programme will include works by Mozart, Vivaldi, Coleridge Taylor, Cimarosa, Mendelssohn and Richard Strauss.

Guest conductor George Morton, musical director of the Sheffield Philharmonic Orchestra, will take the baton, with Susan Meteyard as leader.

The sinfonietta’s recent engagements have included the film concert premiere of Amazing Maurice in Alexandra Palace, multiple concerts with the Babylon Orchester Berlin, conducting Pride Classical in the Bridgewater Hall and Blackpool Tower Ballroom, and debuts with the Orchestra of Opera North and Vaasa City Orchestra (Finland).

Tickets for the tea concerts will be available on the door priced £14 (£2 students and children).
