VICTIMS of a crash near Leamington last night are being treated for serious injuries.
Ambulance crews were called after a car hit a tree in Harbury Lane in Bishops Tachbrook shortly after 10pm.
They found an overturned car in a ditch at the side of the road.
A teenage boy was removed from the wreckage with help from the fire service while ambulance staff assessed him for injuries
He received treatment for potentially serious injuries before being taken to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire for further trauma care.
Three other people managed to get out of the vehicle including one woman who has injuries thought to be serious. Another was was found with non-life-threatening injuries while a fourth was described as ‘walking wounded’ with minor injuries. All were taken to hospital.
