Teenagers arrested following suspected road rage assault on motorway slip road

TWO teenagers have been arrested following a suspected road rage assault on a motorway slip road.

An 18-year-old woman and a 19-year-old man from the Worcester area have been arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

They remain in police custody at this time and detectives are continuing to appeal for witnesses and anyone with any information or dashcam footage.

It follows a serious assault around 6.50pm on Saturday July 4 on the slip road of Junction 15 of the M40 northbound close to the Longbridge roundabout.




Two cars came to a stop on the slip road. A man and a woman in one are reported to have got out of their car and attacked another man and woman in the other.

A 27-year-old man suffered serious injury to his head after being struck with a glass bottle and sustained a broken tooth. He was treated in hospital but has since been released.


A 28-year-old woman was also treated in hospital after she suffered a broken finger. She has also since been released.
