Terrace of houses demolished 40 years ago could be rebuilt

Leamington Editorial 2nd Jan, 2019 Updated: 2nd Jan, 2019   0

A FORMER terrace of houses demolished more than 40 years ago could be rebuilt.

A proposal has been submitted to Warwick District Council to build up to five homes at the back of Warwick Road – a street formerly known as Rawlings Row.

The applicant says there were previously four properties at the back of 200 Warwick Road but they were knocked down in the 1970s with the intention of rebuilding.

Work was never carried out and since then the site has been used as car storage.

But now the applicant hopes to get permission from the council to build between three and five properties on the land and reinstate it as Rawlings Row.
