'Terrified' victim held up at knife point

ARMED robbers threatened a victim at knife point before snatching his phone in Warwick.

Police are appealing for information following the robbery which happened on the racecourse on Friday (March 15) at around 6.30pm.

Two men with their faces covered threatened the victim in his 20s as he walked across the racecourse. They stole his phone before fleeing in the direction of Bowling Green Street.

Det con Suky Beard said: “This was a terrifying ordeal for the victim who was left shaken by the incident.




“We are working hard to trace the suspect and would appeal for anyone who witnessed the incident or saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area to get in touch with us.”
