THIS is the scene of utter devastation which faced Observer photographer Marcus Mingins today.
The billowing black plume of smoke produced as the inferno razed Leeson Polyurethanes to the ground on Friday looked like something from an apocalyptic movie.
And the aftermath at the Juno Drive site looks no less so.
A clean-up operation was launched at the weekend to remove fallen debris.
There were reports of charred lumps of what looked like polystyrene falling from the sky – some landing miles from the factory.
The clean-up is being co-ordinated by Warwick District Council. As it is a large scale operation police have asked for the patience and cooperation of those affected.
