The history of Harbury under the spotlight

HISTORY buffs are being invited to a talk about Harbury.

“Discovering Harbury’s Heritage” by Bill Timson is Warwickshire Local History Society’s next evening talk and will take place on Tuesday March 18 at Aylesford Primary School in Warwick.

Mr Timson, chair of Harbury Heritage Centre, will share the challenges and triumphs of establishing the Harbury Heritage Centre, a hub dedicated to preserving and celebrating the rich history of Harbury village.

Attendees will also be able to find out about the stories and events that shaped Harbury, hear about the recently published book, Life in Victorian Harbury, and understand how the Heritage Centre aims to connect with all ages through events, fundraising, and outreach.

The talk starts at 7.30 pm with tea and coffee served from 7pm.

There is no need to book. Non members are welcome and attendance is free. Donations are welcome
