THOUSANDS of travellers rolled into town for the year’s second Kenilworth Horse Fair.
Visitors from across the country flocked to the annual fair held on privately-owned land near the Thickthorn roundabout, with many turning up a week before the event on Saturday and Sunday.
There was a high police presence in the area but no arrests were made, although some incidents of anti-social behaviour and minor criminal damage were reported.
Officers were drafted from neighbouring towns but a force spokesman said no extra police were needed to cope with the event.
The next fair will take place on the weekend of September 22.
