A DOG-loving top tennis player has been meeting some life-changing pups.
Wimbledon regular Laura Robson visited Guide Dogs National Breeding Centre in Bishops Tachbrook to meet some of the charity’s puppies.
The dogs – who were all around six-weeks-old – were at the centre for health and temperament checks before starting their journey to become guide dogs for those who are visually impaired.
Laura, who won a silver medal in the mixed doubles at the 2012 London Olympics playing with Andy Murray, said: “I had a fantastic time meeting staff and volunteers and learning more about the charity’s amazing work.
“The highlight of my visit was meeting the puppies who will hopefully go on to become life-changing guides for people with sight loss.”
The charity is currently looking for volunteers in the region who could provide homes for guide dog mums.
