Train delays from Leamington likely to last all day

PASSENGERS traveling from Leamington train station could face up to an hour delay on their journey today.

Virgin Trains and CrossCountry services will not be calling at Coventry and Birmingham International because of a signalling problem caused by vandalism near Canley.

Network rail have listed alternative journey options for affected passengers including a replacement bus service running between Coventry and Leamington.

London Midland passengers may use Chiltern Railways or Virgin Trains on any reasonable route.




CrossCountry passengers may use London Midland and Virgin Trains on any reasonable route.

And Virgin Trains passengers may use CrossCountry and London Midland on any reasonable route, Arriva Trains Wales between Birmingham New Street and Wolverhampton, Chiltern Ralways between Birmingham Moor Street and London Marylebone.


All passengers may use National Express West Midlands Buses between Coventry and Birmingham New Street.

Delays are expected to continue for the rest of the day.
