A TRANSIT van crashed into the front of a Leamington town centre restaurant this afternoon.
The white Ford transit smashed into Bill’s on the Parade opposite Leamington Town Hall just before 5pm.
Seconds before ploughing into the restaurant it is understood the courier transit was in collision with a VW Polo.
Police are on the scene. It is not yet known if anyone has been injured or how the crash happened.
Firefighters also arrived soon afterwards.
An eyewitness who arrived shortly after the smash said: “There were a large number of police on the scene. I couldn’t see anyone who looked like the driver of the van. There was a large v-shaped dent on the front of the transit.”
