Treats aplenty to be found along Leamington's Pumpkin Path

Leamington Editorial 21st Oct, 2018   0

HALLOWEEN will be providing plenty of treats along Leamington’s Pumpkin Path.

Forty businesses have so far signed up to be part of the trail of pumpkins leading to prizes totalling £500.

The Pumpkin Path, now in its third year, is organised by BID Leamington and will take place during October half-term.

It challenges Halloween hunters to collect at least ten hidden clues from participating outlets to find the mystery location of a brown postbox where they can enter a grand prize draw to win a family meal for four, a hamper plus games and puzzles.

A host of other prizes have all been donated by local businesses including Libertine Burgers, Berylune, Royal Spa Centre, Nando’s, Procaffeinate and Ember Home.

The Pumpkin Path will run from October 27 to 31 with special treats on offer, subject to availability, on the final day, for treasure hunters turning up at selected shops in fancy dress.

Alison Shaw, project manager at BID Leamington, said: “The Pumpkin Path is becoming increasingly popular especially for families with younger children as it’s a fun alternative to the traditional trick or treating at Halloween – and there’s some great prizes up for grabs.”

Entry forms will be available at participating outlets and in the Upper Mall of the Royal Priors Shopping Centre from Monday October 22.

The Pumpkin Path will run from 9am to 5pm over the five days with entries closing at 5pm on October 31.
