SHOPMOBILITY in Leamington is offering people the chance to have a go.
The charity runs Try Day Fridays on the first Friday of each month during which anyone who finds walking difficult can try out a mobility scooter free of charge.
Full training is given and in addition people will be accompanied on their first journey – for encouragement and help. Anyone can turn up between 10am to noon at the Shopmobility base unit on the fourth floor of the Royal Priors Car Park.
For an annual fee of £15, Shopmobility enables anyone to borrow a scooter free of charge throughout the year.
