Two cannabis farms raided in Warwick

TWO cannabis farms have been raided in Warwick.

The farms, on Sycamore Grove and Pattens Road, were raided by police on Tuesday September 5 and two men arrested and charged for cannabis cultivation.

At the first farm, 48 near-mature plants were discovered.

Following this raid, Tonin Pashollari, 32, of no fixed abode, was arrested and charged with production of cannabis and abstracting electricity.

At the second farm 45 plants in the early stages of growth were found.

Kledi Muca, 20, of no fixed abode, was arrested and charged for production of cannabis.

Both men were charged at Coventry Magistrates Court on Wednesday September 6 and are due to appear at Warwick Crown Court on October 5.

PC Ben Brewster said “We’ve been able to seize these drugs thanks to information provided by the community, to whom we would like to say a huge thank you.

“These reports are from people sick of their neighbourhoods being used to produce cannabis with no respect for their wellbeing.”

Anyone who would like to report cannabis activity should contact Warwickshire Police online at www.warwickshire.police.uk/report, call 101, or CrimeStoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
