Two teenagers arrested following hammer attack in Warwick

TWO TEENAGERS have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a suspected hammer attack in Warwick.

The victim – a 17-year-old boy – remains in a serious but stable condition in hospital following the incident in Tapping Way on Saturday (September 16) at around 3.50pm.

The boy sustaiined a serious head injury following the attack.

Police were called at around 4.50pm to reports that the boy had collapsed a short distance away in Coten End.




Paramedics administered first aid at the scene before taking him to hospital by ambulance.

The victim’s next of kin has been made aware.


A 16-year-old boy and 18-year-old man – both from Leamington – have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
