AN UNSUNG hero from Leamington has been awarded for her tireless dedication as a volunteer.
Helen Foster Hall scooped the Leamington Rotary Community Spirit Award for volunteering at Flourish.
Helen has volunteered at the local charity – which boosts the self esteem of girls across Warwickshire through mentoring sessions – for six years providing admin support.
She was nominated by her fellow volunteers for her loyalty and dedication and never expecting any recognition or praise.
Helen prepares all of the resources needed for the charity’s mentoring programmes and has also organised raffles and drummed up crucial fundraising support.
Flourish founder Char Bevan said: “Helen is one incredible, humble human, she has tirelessly supported Flourish, giving in excess of 1,000 hours of her time. Flourish wouldn’t be the same without her skills, character and time. We would love her dedication to be recognised publicly and a light shone on the difference she has made to Flourish and our community. The world needs more Helens.”
