FOOTY mad youngsters in Upper Lighthorne have had their kits sponsored for another year.
The under 11’s football club in the village has had its kit sponsored by David Wilson Homes again this year.
The homebuilder became the club’s first ever kit sponsor in 2021 and has now gone on to sponsor the away kits for both a senior and junior team too.
The brand new away kit’s pattern and colours were decided as a result of a vote by the team’s current players. The winning strip features a light blue body with a cyan trim down the sides and around the neckline.
Club chair at Upper Lighthorne FC Mikey Perks said: “We are delighted to have David Wilson Homes back on board as a sponsor. The homebuilder was one of our first sponsors and helped us get up and running when we formed two years ago, and to have them onboard as our exclusive away kit sponsor is fantastic. We look forward to further collaboration with the company.
“The players have thoroughly enjoyed taking part in the kit-picking competition facilitated by David Wilson Homes, which involved choosing the colour and design of our first ever away kit. They are excited to feature in the unique kit once it arrives.”
