FIRE crews were called after a van left the road to become wedged between a house and a tree in Wellesbourne.
The incident happened shortly after 6pm on Sunday in Simmons Court.
The gas supply to the house was damaged, but the property owner had managed to turn it off outside.
The crew isolated the vehicle’s electrics and a gas engineer was called to isolate and make the gas supply safe. A structural engineer also attended to assess the property.
The driver was unharmed.
