VANDALS went on the rampage in Whitnash over the weekend.
The recently refurbished red phone box was attacked, and trees at Acre Close, which were planted by volunteer group The Friends of Acre Close, were ripped down.
It is understood windows at St Margaret’s Church were broken and cars in the town were also damaged.
Police are looking at CCTV footage in a bid to identify the culprits.
