THE COUNTDOWN to Christmas got underway in traditional Victorian style in Warwick.
The lights switch-on, carried out by mayor Rich Eddy, saw festive folk pack the town centre to enjoy fairground rides, a Victorian Christmas Market and a whole lot more.
And the Christmas Tree Festival also got underway in St Mary’s Church, where visitors could also see the Warwick Poppies exhibition commemorating the centenary of the end of the First World War. The tree festival runs until December 9.
