Volunteers recognised for conserving Leamington's heritage

STAR volunteers have been awarded for their dedication to conserving Leamington’s heritage.

David Brass from The Arts Society presented the award to The Arts Society Royal Leamington Spa (RLS) volunteer group, which has worked with the Leamington Spa Art Gallery and Museum since 2004. Volunteers help restore items of historic interest and document artefacts in local churches.

RLS volunteer co-ordinator Anne Flower said “Janet Warren and Kate Spencer are founder members and together with more recent volunteers, they continue to enjoy the variety of work at Leamington’s museum. We congratulate them on their well-deserved gold star.”
