A MAN arrested on suspicion of arson has been charged with 11 other crimes.
Officers were looking to speak to 21-year-old Tom Weedon in connection with an arson incident involving two cars, which took place on the Chase Meadow estate in Warwick around 5am on Saturday (April 2).
An appeal was launched by police and he was found and arrested shortly afterwards.
Mr Weedon, of no fixed abode, appeared at Leamington Magistrates Court on Thursday (April 7) where he was charged with one count of arson with intent/reckless as to whether life was endangered.
But he was also charged with one count of attempted robbery, three of possessing a knife blade/sharp pointed article in a public place, two of robbery, one of criminal damage, one of burglary, one of harassment and one of theft of a motor vehicle.
These charges all relate to a number of dates between November 2015 and April 3, 2016.
He was also charged with a further count of arson with intent/reckless as to whether life was endangered in connection with a vehicle fire in Leamington on April 2.
Mr Weedon was remanded in custody until May 5 when he will appear at Warwick Crown Court.
