AN AVIATION company from Warwick is on cloud nine after scooping a top award.
Flux Aviation received the accolade Innovative Startup of the Year at the Midlands finals of the StartUp Awards 2023 on Thursday May 18.
Flux Aviation was founded by Radovan Gallo in 2021 and is on a mission to build a sustainable future for the aviation industry.
The team at Flux Aviation has developed high-performance electric motors and batteries that make zero-emission electric flight possible. They are currently flight testing their electric propulsion technologies with a range of general aviation customers, before scaling these to larger units capable of powering aircraft on regional and domestic flights.
Radovan said: “It is great honour to receive this recognition by StartUp Awards. It is a testament to the hard work of our team and the value of our mission to make zero-emission flight a reality. We are incredibly grateful for the innovation support and strength of talent here in the Midlands that are helping us innovate.”
The StartUp Awards were established in 2022 to highlight the success of startups across nine UK nations and regions, and to celebrate the achievements of entrepreneurs in all sectors of the economy.
