A COMMUNITY centre in Warwick supporting low income families has undergone a major refurbishment.
Packmores Centre helps residents by holding citizens advice sessions, handing out foodbank vouchers and even cooking meals for those who struggle to provide lunch during school holidays.
And their services will be even better after the Lyttelton Street got a complete revamp including a new kitchen, football pitch and sensory room.
Work was done by Lovells housing company and Warwick District Council.
A spokeswoman said: “The Packmores Community Centre may be the place where you arrange an appointment to see your housing officer, but we do a lot more – summer fun days, coffee mornings, health, fitness and craft sessions.
“If you don’t know the area very well, we can help you find your feet. If you do, we can give you info on other activities you might not know about at other local community centres or at the local churches and venues.”
