WARWICK District UN Association is set to welcome its first overseas speaker.
The group is holding its meetings online due to the pandemic, and is set to host its next event on Saturday (June 27) from 12.15pm on Zoom.
They will be joined by Professor Gilbert Burnham, professor of international health at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in Baltimore – the first guest to address the association from abroad.
It will be on the topic on ‘has the pandemic damaged World Health Organisations credibility as guardian of Global Health?’.
