A MAN has been charged after allegedly pointing a firearm at police.
Daniel Reid, age 34 of Emscote Road in Warwick, was charged with possession of an air weapon with intent to cause fear of violence and five counts of assaulting an emergency worker.
Officers were called to his home on February 28 to check his welfare when it is alleged a firearm was pointed at them.
Mr Reid will appear at Coventry Magistrates’ Court on May 7.
