Warwick market cancelled due to dangerous weather

DANGEROUS weather conditions have led  to Warwick market being cancelled.

Organisers CJ’s Events say the market tomorrow (Saturday March 3) has been called off as the weather presents a health and safety risk.

A spokeswoman said: “We have taken the decision earlier than normal to cancel tomorrow’s market.

“The current conditions are dangerous for our staff, traders and visitors and are they’re not going to improve by tomorrow.

“Further snow is also predicted later today into this evening. This decision hasn’t been taken lightly, but we have to take advice from Met Office. Traders are being contacted.”

Warwick market will go ahead as usual on Saturday March 10.
