Warwick one of the best places to live in Britain

Ian Hughes 4th Feb, 2019

WARWICK remains among the best places to live in Britain.

The town was placed 31st in the latest Halifax quality of life survey which considers factors such as the housing market, health, education, crime levels and the environment.

Warwick was placed 65th in the list in 2017’s survey. Stratford was placed 34th, down from tenth place in 2017.

There was however no place for neighbouring Leamington in the list despite the town being named the happiest place to live in Britain last year,

The Orkney Islands, off Scotland’s north coast, topped the list, followed by Richmondshire in North Yorkshire and Rutland in the East Midlands.
