WARWICK Racecourse is saddling up to welcome record crowds for Ladies Night.

The event on Saturday May 12 is part of Qatar Airways May Racing Carnival at Warwick and the racecourse expects the evening to be more popular than ever.

Gates open at 3.30pm with live music before races start at 5.30pm.

Best hat and fashion competitions will highlight the event with prizes including return flights to Doha, a spa day at Ardencote Manor, an Audi TT for the weekend from Listers Audi and glamping at Warwick Castle.

Live music will continue after the last race finishes, with a Robbie Williams tribute act.

Racecourse manager Andre Klein said: “Ladies Night is certainly shaping up to be our best ever with the number of advanced ticket sales suggesting that we’re on track for a record crowd.

“It is one of our biggest days and has a growing reputation for being a fantastic occasion, which this year will be really enhanced with a top line-up of prizes and entertainment.

“Preparations are well underway and we’re looking forward to welcoming everyone through the gates.”
