ROTARIANS have been rewarded for their dedicated service.

Jackie Crampton, Laurie Day, and Paul Jaspal were all presented with Paul Harris Awards in recognition of their commitment to Warwick Rotary Club.

Paul Jaspal, who is known to many as the former postmaster at the Shire Hall, joined the club in 1998 and became president in 2002.

He has gone on to take a keen interest in rotary across the region and is currently district governor for District 1060, which has more than 60 clubs and over 1,650 members.

Living and working in Warwick as an architect, Laurie Day has helped many a community project by preparing plans free of charge.

More recently, he spent over two years obtaining planning approval for the new headquarters of the 2nd Warwick Sea Scouts in St Nicholas Park.

And last year’s club president Jackie Crampton has worked tirelessly as a town planner and project manager to help organise a number of events over the years including the annual pancake races and town bonfire.

The award is named after the rotary‚Äôs founder and is designed to recognise a rotarian’s service to the community.
