TWO Warwick school girls will be spending their summer holiday in London’s West End.

Myton School pupil Lily Crockford and Kings High pupil Katie Burrows will be part of a cast of 20 youngsters and four adults performing in The Secret Garden at The Ambassador Theatre.

The 12 years-old have become good friends while acting and dancing together with the Pauline Quicke Academy, the Spa Theatre Group and Fiery Feet Dance Studio.

The girls said: “We are looking forward to working on the musical in the heart of London’s Theatre land and agree it is a fantastic opportunity to work with a professional team in The West End.”

Frances Hodgson Burnett’s classic story tells the tale of ten year-old Mary Lennox who returns to Yorkshire having been orphaned while living in India. While living with her reclusive uncle, she searches for a mysterious secret garden which belonged to her aunt before she died.

The show runs from July 27 to August 31. Visit www.theambassadorstheatre.co.uk for tickets.
