A CORONAVIRUS test on a Warwick School pupil has come back negative.
The pupil was tested after returning from an area affected by the virus – known as Covid-19 – and after showing flu-like symptoms.
A spokeswoman for the school told the Observer there were no confirmed cases of Covid-19 among pupils and staff at the Warwick Independent Schools Foundation – comprising Warwick Preparatory School, Warwick Junior School, King’s High School and Warwick School.
A school spokesperson said: “The foundation is following the latest Public Health England advice for schools, to ensure we look after all members of the school community and is updating parents regularly as new information comes to light.”
