MUSICAL pupils from Warwick School were in tune at the National Concert Band Festival (NCBF) Regional Finals.
They scooped six awards, and special individual commendations, including two platinum and four gold awards.
Warwick School bands The Super Tonics and Little Big Band won platinum and there were golds for Warwick School’s Big Band, the collaborative bands of Warwick School and King’s High School, Foundation Wind Orchestra, Camerata and Jazz Lab.
There were honours for Super Tonics’ Adam Thompson and Freddie Wyatt (Outstanding Musicians for the French Horn) and and Little Big Band’s Chris Gibson (Outstanding Musician for Trumpeter).
The NCBF Finals take place in April.
