Leamington Editorial 5th Feb, 2016 Updated: 28th Oct, 2016

SCOUTS in Warwickshire are saying farewell to their current leader.

Andy Walker is stepping down after three years in the role, and the search is now on for a new leader.

Andy said: “It has been a privilege to lead Warwickshire Scouts and I look forward to handing over the role to someone who will continue to take scouting forward.

“I’ve had a fantastic time meeting many, many young people, seeking them enjoy wonderful adventures as well as working with our volunteer leaders who give their time to ensure the young people of Warwickshire have fun and adventure.”

The scouts are now looking for Andy’s successor – a volunteer with management experience keen to do more in their community.
