A CARE home director is brightening up the lives of elderly residents by taking on the Three Peaks Challenge.
Lucy Fitzpatrick from Warwick is taking on the gruelling hike on Monday June 13 to raise money for the Bring Joy Foundation – a charity funding day trips for older people.
The 33-year-old director of Home Instead Senior Care in Warwickshire said: “The money I am raising will be donated to the Bring Joy Foundation, which was set up by Home Instead Senior Care to help bring the fun back into ageing.
“The charity funds everything from trips to the seaside to vintage tea dances, which all provide support and enjoyment for older people.”
