FIRE crews were called to rescue someone trapped in a house fire in Warwick.
Concerned neighbours called emergency services after they saw smoke billowing from the Hampton Road home yesterday (Thursday).
Paramedics arrived first and helped the person out of the building.
Firefighters were faced with heavy smoke as they tackled a bathroom fire which was brought quickly under control.
The door had been closed which had limited the smoke damage to the rest of the property.
Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service tweeted the pictures and stressed the importance of closing all doors and windows before going to bed, as well as weekly smoke alarm checks.
